In a channel that continues to diversify, keeping up with the changes in Social Media and knowing where to invest your next pound is increasingly challenging. In addition, a lack of common currency between platforms makes it increasingly difficult to holistically measure the effectiveness of cross-platform campaigns. However, this diversification in Social platforms is not reflected in media investment due to the usability of ads platforms and tracking, budget allocation generally being done platform-by-platform, in addition to a limited understanding of audience overlaps and impact being difficult to compare. As a result, Social Hero, Performics’ bespoke Social Media planning tool was created; a single interface for Social teams to plan campaigns across multiple platforms, providing a meaningful understanding of the relative value for their campaign. The tool allocates budget pound-by-pound, provides a granular understanding of audience overlaps and creates a common currency for impact. Within a user interface, Social Hero provides optimised budget allocation across a range of social platforms, with forecasted results per platform.
