Secret Lives of: The Next Generation took a social-first approach, using longform and shortform content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to reach Gen Z and their families. The series, which featured five-year-olds engaging in energy-saving tasks and games, explored how children view climate change and energy use, showcasing their optimistic perspectives and empowering them to take climate action. By aligning with YouTube’s positive, soothing environment, the series inspired change and helped reduce eco-anxiety through both educational and engaging content. With 22 million views, over 192,000 social media interactions, and a 74% increase in positive perceptions of E.ON Next, the campaign demonstrated the power of content-driven initiatives in sparking meaningful, lasting change.
